The interface: Spiritual to the physical

Reading: Psalm 119:130. 
The Entrance of the words giveth light; it give understanding to the simple.
Introduction
One key objective of the coming of Jesus was to replace our human life with Eternal life. Eternal life then becomes the active live by which a man lives. 
Before we get into the details of today's discussion I would like to do a little analogy it may not exactly represent what I want to say but it would give us some ideas about how and why the Word of God is so, so important to a Christian.

Now many of us know that electricity is not visible and yet it can go over long distances to achieve things and affect things.
We also know that to make use of electricity for your good, one has to obey certain rules. If you change the wiring you cannot expect the results stated by the manufacturer.
The gadget you are using may go up in flames, may not work again or may even do work in reverse.
May I suggest that even though electricity is not visible, as it passes through certain physical items it causes the object's specific properties to produce light, heat, etc
Note it is the same electricity that causes and object to give light,  give out heat, and in some cases rotate a fan.
Lesson:
Do you see that when electricity passes through an object. It causes changes in the physical characteristics of that object.
Do you want to be changed? Do you want to serve God?
Seek the means by which the Word of God will pass through you! 

2 Corinthians 3:18. 
3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
If the Word of God gets into your spirit, 
Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you
Success is yours.
John 6:63, John 7:17
2. The Word is designed to bring changes 
The Word is designed to bring changes that God has purposed and like electricity will bring the desired change 
A man cannot benefit from (God's electricity), I mean God's Word if he cannot connect. Psalm 119:130 and in
John. 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth (emphasis mine) my word, and believeth on him that sent me, 
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
This is emphasized in so many ways in the scriptures that it makes me marvel why this knowledge is so rare in the Church. 
I challenge everyone and say The way to seek solution to anything is to connect to God's word.
1John 5:13
That Holy Spirit dwells in us and that we have the ability of God in our mortal bodies.
That ability though comes by the Spirit of God through His Words. Zechariah 4:6

3. Christian Responsibility
It follows from everything we have said that (Romans 10:17). If anyone does not hear the Word they are forever lost! 
Every Christian has a responsibility to speak the Word of God to the hearing of others. The Word has within it power to cause changes and will have its effect.


4. Believe
The real challenge for a child of God in delivering God's Word is that men WILL believe!
Remember every man has his own will. And the Lord negotiates for that.
Jesus advises is to pray to God to work on the will of men to believe. And Good will play His part. John 6:44, 65, Matthew 9:38 
It is God who is looking for you
John 6:44, John 6:35-40. A Man should count it a great previlege that this WORD OF GOD encounters him.

5. Holy Desire Loving God
Giving your heart is better than giving your strength
When people fall in love we all know that the mind is fruitless.
Our relationship with the Lord is nothing but a relationship of Love.
When someone is in love no matter how hard you try you cannot change them. You may change their mind but you cannot change their heart.

The relationship we have with the Lord is not of the mind but of the heart. Mark 12:33

6 .How are Christians Born?
Accept God's Love proposal
You will change,
When you accept God's Love proposal you will be a new person. This is what happens to all who accept Love Proposals.

Hear Him,
Love Him
Your life cannot be the same.

Prayer: Father let the Love I have for You increase Eternally! Amen
