The importance of His Word - I

Reading: Isaiah 55:9-11

Introduction
As Christians, we cannot continue to feed on the Word of God with the mentality of men and be Good Christians. We belong to the Kingdom of the Word.

1.  The Word is not of the Earth John 6:63
The  Bible clearly distinguishes the Word of the Lord from the Word of Men. Isaiah 55:9-10
The Word causes effect. 
The Word is beneficial; 
The Word augments benefits to the hearer.
The Word prospers the receiver even to be a provider.

We are instructed that the word of the Lord is not the same as the word of men. Isaiah 55:1
1.1 When the Word of the Lord is found by the Heart of a man, there is an explosion of activity.
Note: Kerosene when it is alone caches no fire, but if you light a match near it, it explodes. A heart that does not receive the Word is alone. James 2:17,26 Share the Word! The Word causes change.

2.  We have Received the Spirit for the Word
Note: Electricity does not pass through every material. The Holy Spirit will work with they that have the spirit. Romans 8:14, 1 John 5:13 (Question: Who is he that has the Holy Spirit?) 
1 Corinthians 2:12-14
In this verse we are instructed that we receive things from God because the Spirit of God in His Love helps us to know the things that are freely given to us by God.
If one desires to speak about these things ( the things given to our spirit which himself is given by God) we can only talk about these things in the wisdom that the Holy Ghost teaches.
Learn to speak the Kingdom Language and develop the Kingdom consciousness too.

o I am translated from darkness into the Kingdom of Jesus Colossians 1:13

3. We as growing children of the Most High God 
We as growing children of the Most High God should learn that words in the Kingdom  have very different purposes and effect compared to the word of men.
e.g. If a theif pleads with those who have arrested him "forgive me I will not do this again"
Note, the world does not understand. He will still be charged in court.

Compare this to the Word of God in 1John 1:9 Where God forgives us of we confess. 
He says " if we we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
So God forgives us of our sin and even helps us out of it 
but 
men will take none of that, you have to pay. 
The Same spoken word have different effect with men and different effect with the Lord.
Lessons:
With this background it is important to understand that some of our words to God will be ineffective in the least. The only sensible way to approach the Throne is with the Right Word and the right mindset.
Approach in Spirit
Therefore you are encouraged to prepare your Heart, meditate on the Love of the Lord and approach the Throne of Grace in the knowledge of your actual redemption and acquittal by the Lord Jesus to the Throne - Your Words will be appropriate.
In short know the scripture and your words will be appropriate.

4. If you are instructed by the Word it will impact your language that you speak.
1 Peter 4:11 It is the desire of the Lord that His nature and ability will be found in you. Philippians 2:13
It is an anomaly to be in the family and the house of the Lord and yet live as one without the Word.

Many believe Christianity is to
come to church
Get or take what you want and
Go and live your life. No
It is not right!
Even when you spend just a few months abroad, you act like one. Why wouldn't you act as a citizen of Heaven.

5. We are encouraged
We are encouraged to show, put across, make known the qualities of the Lord and even grow in it BY HEARING THE WORD. Hebrews 5:11-12
Romans 10:17 As we hear the word we are given faith. This will make our Christian Life successful and victorious.
We shall have the needed equipment and attitude to be successful
May the Lord help us in There Word. Amen


The Lord Supper
Reminder: We are in the World but we are not of the World. John 17:16
- Remember every species have their own diet Read John 6:53-54

Prayer:
We will pray on these topics as we remind ourselves of where we belong.
1.  Give thanks to God for the Eternal life that we have in Jesus. Because Jesus gave His life on the cross to give us Eternal Life. John 3:16
2.  We believe that we are empowered and enabled as we take the bread of life. John 6:54.

Prayer:
One member should pray on the Bread (Body)
One member should pray on the wine (Blood)

Taking the Lord's Supper
Be thankful as you take the Lord's Supper 
Give thanks to the Lord after you take The Lord's Supper.
A prayer of affirmation.
As a member of God's family,
Refuse, reject, condemn, rebuke any circumstances in your life is that is different from what the Bible says! ( You cannot be sick, You cannot be poor etc)

Let us give thanks and close the Lord's Supper. 
Amen
