The Purpose of Spiritual Sensitivity

Reading: Matthew 16:2-3
All things are revealed for the revelation of God.

1. Introduction
Last week we learnt some of the things that give information for sensitivity whose main purpose was to prevent us from harming ourselves or getting into danger.
We have also come to know that we have similar sensitivities in the spirit. We learnt these examples from the Bible. 
a. The Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 2:12
b. Word of Jesus John 6:63
c. The Person of Jesus Eternal life John 10:10, John 11:25 The Resurrection.
The way there truth and the life John 14:6
d. The Word of God. Acts 11:14
e. Believe
Believe in the Lord Jesus
Acts 16:31
Believe the Lord Jesus.
John 14:12-14
When a man cannot receive any of the sense's suggestions, that man's life cannot make progress. 
Note: Let it be a matter of desire and concern that you may know Spiritual information.

2. God is revealed in the creation around us Romans 1:18:24
Jesus intimated that a Christian must discern! When Spiritual suggestions are given to a child of God, it is required of that child to discern.
When a man cannot receive Spiritual information this is what happens. Matthew 22:29 He makes mistakes
Luke 12:56-59 He does not understand what the Lord is revealing to him.
Our desire and prayer is that Jesus will open our spiritual senses to receive from God.

3. The Christian has been made to get spiritual information
Ephesians 2:8, by Grace
Matthew 13:11
John 6:44-46
John 10:29
From the scriptures above Christians should understand and distinguish themselves from men. I have something extra! I have something that all my do not have! I have been given the ability to receive from the Lord. John 8:43,47.
With this knowledge your prayer will always ask for more abilities in the spirit.
We Thank God. Who has made it possible to engage in all Spiritual areas of life by giving us Jesus Christ and eternal life in the presence of our God in Heaven.
John 10:27-28


4. What are you made of? John 8:47. 
It is what your are made of that makes Jesus lovable to you or not.
You will never love the things of God if you have not accepted Jesus.
 A lot of people drive cars around but it is not all people who can drive. Those who drive cars are called drivers. They have something that makes them drive. Christians have Christ that makes us Christians. When one tries to drive a car without the required qualities it can result in death.
Fire to Fire and Fire to destruction 2Corinthians 2:15-17 
Wood and Iron do not receive fire in the same way. One is destroyed.
My prayer for all is that we shall stand in a position where we receive the Word unto life. It is possible to receive the Word unto destruction.


5. Know that you have what can receive from God. Luke 1:16-17
It is possible to turn a heart. Ezekiel 36:26
However many can resist the turning of the Lord. Hebrews 3:7-8
The Bible Says you are chosen 1 Peter 2:8


Conclusion
The Life we have in Christ is so different from the natural life. Romans 8:5.
Know the agents of Spiritual Revelation Jesus, The Holy Spirit, The Word of God etc
Know that you have something extra and that your heart has been turned.
Live with that consciousness.


Father: Thank you for preparing me to live in Christ. Help me to grow in Him that I may shine to your Glory.
