My fruitfulness as a Christian.
 

Reading: Colossians 1:10

1. Introduction
To be spiritual is to have a conscious connection with God through His Word. The Word of God has been given specifically for the purpose of teaching a man the right way to live.

The only reason our employers are willing to pay us is because so far we are doing - not what we want but what they want, we do that well by referring to manuals.
What you know is only relevant if feeds into the corporate objective.
We can do this easily for years but to come for prayer meeting has issues.
If money is all you need that approach is the best but If you want something more valuable than money,
integrity, forthrightness, a heart free of bitterness, confidence in this life and the next, no fear of the future, no anxiety, rest in your spirit, no amount of money can buy these. These are found in the one who receives from the Lord.

2. Always Engage The Lord
The right way to live is to consciously engage Your Creator - God - in everything you do.
Since a man has His will, courtesy of God, he may choose to live on God's terms or not on His terms. That is your banafide choice and you are responsible for the outcome not God
 

3. The God Class
To approach the God Class a man must have control and power over what he has! Genesis 1:26-28. We have the power to create - The only specie in creation that does that Psalm 82:5-6.
Whenever a man is stirred into action by these things we are acting contrary to God's word. It is the other way round. How does Good want me to overcome this mountain as Zerrubabel in Zachariah 4:6-8

4. The Best Relationship
The Best relationship is when we give part of us (will)
(May I suggest to you that the best relationship is where a person is willing to share his will. It is a sacrifice of Love. Giving part of you to your partner. John 15:13).
To be a valuable person in The Lords Kingdom you must be willing to sacrifice a bit of you.
Giving something that is rightly yours for someone's benefit is true Christianity.

5. Jesus willingly gave himself for us
In other relationships each person is seeking their own. 1 Corinthians 10:24, Philippians 2:3-11. I challenge every Christian to make this World better by giving some of your will as Jesus did. As we can see the power of such giving is immeasurably immense.
God is pleased with men who out of their own would want to share their life with another.

6. The Root of Selfishness
Selfishness stems out of fear and anxiety, The fear that you will be found in short supply.
The reason you will be found like that is because The world is your focus. The Bible Teaches how these things can be svoided and will not happen to you.

Wrong values
Wrong gratification: Luke 11:27-28
Wrong judgement etc
These are right in the world but wrong in the Lord

Men desire the praise of men rather than the praise of God. Romans 2:29, John 12:43
As a man accepts the way the world does things, selfishness is inevitable.

Prayer: Father, help me to know what the right way of living is to please you. Amen
