Three Voices of Life Sunday, September 30, 2018

Reading: Today if you hear the voice Hebrews 3:7

1. Introduction
What do you do with a voice? Voices have a purpose To enact action on the part of the hearer. The ultimate benefit or fulfillment goes to the one who is the source of the voice, it is request of his will. Voices shape this world!

The three Voices
• The Voice of God. (and everything God is)
• The Voice of Man (and everything Man is)
• The Voice of the Devil and everything the devil is - demons etc)
Note the importance of voice as it functions in Life. Voice is like life: without it nothing happens. John 6:63, Genesis 1:1-3

2. The language of the spirit
Voice is the express expression of will. It is therefore the language of the spirit. Note also that a voice - a thing that enacts action from the receiver need not be audible in our physical ears. It is communication of the spirit. If it reaches your spirit you have communication, communication is established by your voice. Its response.

3. Illegal voice
Un-agreed, un-affirmed Voice is illegal in the flesh of the receiver and cannot achieve communication. Luke 4:5
Any expression sourced in the flesh is incomplete information; only voice can affirm and legalize a person's will. Joshua 1:8, Amos 3:3
Example this voice Philippians 2:9-11, comes from God, He says it - and I (we) confess and legalize it then it can function in my (our) body.
If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God raised hath raised him from the dead thou shall be saved. Romans 10:9-10

4. Affirmation
Opening your mouth to voice in agreement to say what God has said about you is a sure way to also make it legal. Hebrews 13:5-6. Matthew 12:37.
Example:
I am a child of God (ref John 1:12-13)
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17, 2 Corinthians 10:4)

5. Accepting a voice Romans 6:16
Once you hear and act on the voice of another you are primarily responsible for the action. Your body cannot act unless your inner voice agrees.
It also means that you have relinquished your will and are willing to be subject to this voice!

May we for ever hear accept and do the voice of God. James 1:25. We shall be blessed.

6. God
Jeremiah 29:11 I know the thoughts I think about you. Anything that enacts action from you has desire that you follow a desired path and head towards a desired location.
The Bible primarily gives us THE VOICE - the express expression of God The Father in the Bible. It is the voice of God.
Anytime one takes the Bible there should be an expectation to "hear" the Voice of God.

Hearing in the flesh and in the Spirit
Hearing in the Flesh
This is very different from normal study which primarily seeks to secure some information for the purpose of telling it, using it or applying it. It is just an information account just like a bank account.

But if you read the Bible you want to “Hear”! What you acquire, no man has - IT IS LIFE - Eternal Life from God

 My Response
If one "hears" then one may then respond. How?
• By affirmation Hebrews 13:5
• By doing James 1:25
• By Confirming Romans 10:9-10
This is eternal life! The application of the voice of God is not destined for the physical.

7. Man
Mans authority was given primarily for nature. To keep it. Genesis 2:15. Man's authority was on the universe but not in the spirit. Man had only one voice to receive - the voice of God.
a man may use his voice illegally (with the devil) as in "I am also a prophet of God", and the prophet was killed 1 Kings 13:18.
Or legally (with God) as in “He calleth thee be of Good cheer” Mark 10:49.
It is quite clear that a man's Voice cannot be depended on Jeremiah 17:5, it vacillates for good and evil.
Your position, Man's position in all this is to affirm, to align or to renounce - to separate.
He that is not with us is against us. Matthew 12:30, Luke 9:30, Mark 9:38-40.

8. Devil
The thief cometh not but to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10.
You will not die leading to the enslavement of man. Genesis 3:4-5.
Man should avoid the voice of the devil even if it seems harmless.
Note: the voices operate not in our bodies because God is a Spirit and the Devil is a Spirit. Man is a Spirit
The transactions are secured in the spiritual and manifest physically

9. Culpability
You are only culpable to what you agree with a voice. Amos 3:3
• Your disposition IS your sin not your action.
• Your disposition is a function of your nature.
• Your Nature is the result of your origins. 1John 3:9 Those born of God, have no disposition to Sin.
Note that where ever a Spirit agrees there is a change that only God can reverse. Especially where ones will is given to him.

When Adam agreed with the devil, he died as a Spirit being.
AGREE WITH GOD, HEAR GOD AND AFFIRM GOD AND LIVE FOR EVER - AMEN

Father: may I always hear and agree with your voice.
