Reading: John 6:63-65 Therefore said I unto you…

Objective: The objective of this Sermon is to help us know that it is the Lord that saves and what we do is to yield to him
1. Submitting to his counsel
Paul was really convinced of his position until he met Jesus. Our prayer should be is that we may be directed in our lives by the Holy Spirit. May the Lord direct us to the truth.
I am better, I know better, this is good, and this is the best.

2. Be convinced Salvation is spiritual Ephesians 2:8
And it is the Lord who can do it.
Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that it is there Lord who saves. One has to understand this so that you can be grateful to him. It is really a gift.

3. The Lord knows me!
The Lord knows who you are and what you do Acts 9:11-12
Ananias in the city of Damascus was known. Judas in whose house Paul was was known, the street on which the house was was known. His [Paul] Hometown was known. The activities that were going on in the house were known.

4. The Lord knows my future
There Lord knows what you expect. Your prayer, the pain in your heart, your dearest wishes are known. The Lord knows your visions. The Lord knows your destiny.

5. It is foolishness to walk against yourself
It is difficult to be at variance with the will of God. Acts 9:3-5
May I be in the will of God always.
You can ride a bicycle uphill but it is easier to ride down hill. Even the hill will support you.

6. Stubbornness will deny you your blessing.
He does not listen to what others have to say. The truth is that there is a Spirit of rejection working in him.
His prayer should be Lord deliver me. Speak to my soul Acts 9:6
What he does only destroys him further.

7. True salvation is infectious
Acts 9:9 may your encounter with the Lord also affect those you love. The change in me should affect those around me.

8. Acts 9:20 About Turn
My wish and your wish should be that the Lord will do to us what will make us turn to him in all things – not only in some things
This turn challenges your past
This turn make friends become enemies
This turn will bring trust
This turn makes you beat those who came ahead of you and do not have a turn in their soul.


Prayer: Lord I submit to your ways. Amen
