Reading: John 20:27

1. Introduction
It is wrong to live in this Earth thinking that some things written in the scripture cannot be true. The reason you can’t is that your faculties for evaluating things are limited. We even dispute colours. We do not have absolute understanding
• That is unbelief
• It is presumptuous
• It is smacks of carnality as finality and yet it is not.

2. Your disposition (Mind set)
Titus 1:15-16 To the pure all things are pure. You can only get what you expect. Jesus said you faith had made you whole. Matthew 9:22

Now we study these brethren
2.1 Mary: John 20:1-2
Mary comes to the grave and finds that Jesus is risen
Note: She loved Jesus, was the first but was set in this earthly things

2.2 Peter and John: John 20:3-9
When Peter and John heard; they both did not filter the words by the Holy Spirit or by the words of Jesus. They Run. In what belief? But John did well relating what Jesus had told him to his experiences in life-and believed. John 20:8-9
Note: The whole purpose of scripture and salvation is to make us live in the presence of our God properly.

 John 20:8-9 Knowing scripture is not reading, or seeing but believing

2.3 Mary: John 2:11-16
She saw Angeles but saw them not.
She saw Jesus' Resurrection but saw it not
She saw Jesus but saw him not but as a Gardener!
When in the presence of God believe! The way we know things doesn't apply anymore.

Two things to learn Pronouncement of Will John 20:21,23
We can receive by pronouncements John 20:21,23 Power! and authority
We may also pronounce and exercise authority.

2.4 Thomas the Unbelieving John 20:25
Don't equate God's power and ability to this Earth and its limitations. He is a miracle working God. The Earth and its systems are but a shadow in the presence of our God. They don't measure up.
John 20:28 Thomas believes after the spiritual is "reduced" to the physical, where he can see and touch!
Lesson: A person truly believes that his when his heart (Spirit) himself is engaged. That is what God can engage this is what makes us relate to God. John 4:24, Matthew 15:8

Jesus Advices us John 20:29
Be not faithless but believing when the Spirit speaks. Amen.

Prayer: Father Help my unbelief.
