Jesus shows me Who God is to me: Sunday, November 18, 2018

Reading: Luke 19:10

1. Introduction
Most men on earth acknowledge that there is God. Yet there are so many different conceptions of God that His own revelation of himself is yet to be known by a many.

2. Nature
But creation reveals the nature of God to us. Romans 1:18-20. But His Power, His All Knowing, His Presence are not revealed by creation but are revealed by His Son Jesus Christ. John 1:14 we beheld His Glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father.

3. How is God to me? How Is He?
Jesus said to Philip he who has seen me has seen the Father! John 14:9.
Man trapped by the fall in his physical being has been yearning to go back into fellowship with his creator. But is not able to do so by himself.

4. Jesus! Jesus! Came to answer that Hunger for man Matthew 11:28
I know him if I say I do not know him I will be a liar like you. John 8:55. His life and his love shows us that God is love. Amen. John 10:10. Jesus is the one who shows me who God is to me! My need to see God is answered.

5. In addition
Jesus is the revelation of God's love for me - but in addition - that God is my Father also! The Father Himself loves you. John 16:27. The Father nature of God for me breaks down every barrier of fear in me.
A danger is sin is to refute that God is my Father! John 5:18. Shout Aloud God is my Father!
John 14:20, 6:46, 7:29, 8:18, 10:15

6. His Example for me John 5:24
When I look at Jesus I am assured of God my Father's Love. Jesus made me "green with jealousy" over things like:
I and my Father are one John 10:30
You can do greater things John 14:12
It is easy for me to identify with Jesus because he was a man like me only there is something about Him that I needed: This was His Life! But he said; John 5:26  God gave it to me and Jesus said John 10:10  I give it to you. Amen

7. I need this life too
I realize Jesus has a life ( Zoë) that I need. My mind set, my authority, my nature, and everything about me will be like Jesus. John 3:16
In John 10:10 Jesus says that is why he came!
My quest has ended. John 5:26, 10:10 I can have this life also.
Old life of spiritual death is eradicated! Paid for, done with. I have Zoë. Amen

8. Conclusion
God through Jesus has given me Zoë - Eternal Life, I will live it to His Glory. Amen.

Thank you father! I HAVE ZOE in Christ Jesus.
