The Household of God Ephesians 2:19

I am a product of God's Love, I am God's joy Sunday, February 18, 2018
 

Reading: Matthew 3:17 this is my son in whom I'm well pleased.

1. Introduction
God's reprimand, judgment or approval will be true and just, not because he is God but because it is true and He is just. Romans 3:6 -7, Matthew 13:58

2. Be Careful of Despondency
There is always the danger in saying God will do what he will do anyway so I'll just wait. No one is going to be judged according to another standard but your own. 1 Corinthians 10:13
• Expectation is in consonance with ability Matthew 25:15. Judging a person on things he cannot do is wrong and not of God.

3. God is Truth
The Bible says God cannot lie; Titus 1:2, if God said you deserve praise then you deserve praise.
• I am what God says I am
• I can do what God says I can do
• I have what God says I have

4. Life on this Earth adds to character of God's Children
God does not bring up spoilt children.
Jesus became the savior of the world by earning it. Philippians 2:9-12
Hebrews 5:8-10 though he was a son yet learnt he obedience by the things which he suffered.

5. Purpose of Created things
All creative acts have purpose and meaning before their creation. The fulfillment of that purpose brings joy to the Creator. Exodus 31:3-4
There was a direct instruction to Man that he rules Genesis 1:26-30
The heart of God said man should be like the Father Son and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:26
All men are made like God and should do things like God.

6. Conclusion
If I am of God's love and for his joy, I am of great value in the kingdom. I will bless God by who he has made me.
If I act like God I bless Him
If I love like God I bless Him


Prayer: Father; help me to be like Jesus so that I will be your joy. Amen.
