Interruptions to Good, January 14, 2018

Reading: And it was very Good Genesis 1:31

Introduction:
Genesis 1:31 everything was very good before the devil came on the scene. The conclusion is that the devil, sin and all its effects are an interruption in our scheme of things.
We may conclude
The Basic information is that all men are fundamentally good. Because the desire and the evil men do does not come to man naturally. It usually comes to man at great struggle. Romans 7:24-25

The adulteration of man
Since man has the power of choice, he can be adulterated by ease and error. That though evil is not natural to man, the ease of achieving an objective may override the conscience of a man.The continuous use of this approach will eventually make a man sinful. He would have become reprobate.
At this point the individual will gradually assume and consider the evil means first and cannot understand why it is wrong as it works for him in the ease. Such individuals cannot consider others. If they do they cannot continue in the way they operate.

The woman you gave me
It is also clear from the statement "the woman that you gave me" that man has rights. He also has the power of choice -before his God. Man cannot absolve himself completely from sin. He affirms it or reject it as his conscience rules his life

The injection of sin Romans 7:14-18
The main operation of sin comes when a man has decided in his heart to do what is right. Doing anything comes from the heart not the mind. The mind is for evaluation. The heart is for action. If a thing is not concluded in the mind as proper, no action can ensue. There heart should concur otherwise nothing happens with zeal – only grudgingly. It must be known that when the heart concurs, the event will happen. Samson and Delilah Judges 16:4

Opposing Oneself
Opposing oneself is the result of doing what your heart has not concurred. Sin is what does that.
2 Timothy 2:25, Romans 7:20.
The law of sin works in the flesh.
Romans 8:1-3

Methods of sin
Discouragement: Tobias and his group attempted to discourage Nehemiah and his men. This is a method of sin that we should be all aware. Listen to God intently and do not allow yourself to be discouraged. Nehemiah 2:19, 4:3

Resistance and lies Paul Acts 13:50
I believe the devil has tools – men he can use if need be to really resist the purpose of God in a man’s life. One of the key took of the devil is to make things difficult. But the Lord has assured us that though it tarries it shall surely come to pass. Delays and difficulties are his stock in trade. Barrenness, Joblessness, delayed marriage, no promotion are a few examples we can think of.

Taunting Jesus say you are the son of God. Like 23:39
It is quite funny sometimes when someone forgets his problem and concentrates on anothers.

Putting on the spot mother of the Lord at the party
John 2:3

Raising questions: Eve in the garden Genesis 3:1. This I believe is really a test of faith. 1Corinthians 15:58

Treats and arrest the disciple and Peter Acts 4:3,17

Encourage evil Romans 1:22-29 Turning evil as good and creates shades of sin, as if a shade of sin is not sin

Half heartedness: Doing things half heartedly Luke 9:59-62. Give the gospel your full weight.

Uneducated and lack of information about an issue
A person's education and understanding gives his will the required force of application.
Paul ignorance. 1 Timothy 1:13

Having a low value of self.1 Corinthians 6:20, 7:23

The List goes on but they are of the same Nature. Your Faith in God is Challenged
Despondency, Valuing oneself materially what one has acquired, Devaluing your individuality like Esau, what is birthright and apportioning blame like Adam letting Sin off and blaming others
Apportioning blame

Father, Help me to call sin, sin and righteousness, righteousness Amen
