Reading: Galatians 2:20
1. Introduction
The week we started the “The life if the Incarnate One”
One of the troubles of the New Creation is his ambivalence. It is important that
a Christian puts on the right lenses for the Kingdom. Galatians 2:20, Romans
8:11.
I believe if a Christian without the foundation of Matthew 5-7 has not yet got
the right mindset. Make an effort to measure your New Life by Matthew 5-7.
2. Indestructible before God
A thing cannot be destroyed before its creator. Our true Redeemer is the Lord.
Others and other things have no clue of what to do with us. God knows why you
can sing and why Johnson can run. He did it! Exodus 31:1-3, Isaiah 49:15, Exodus
2:2-4. So when things turn difficult give it over to God. It is a wise decision.
3. Look at scripture with new eyes
The scripture was not given to be learnt but to reveal the New Life to be lived.
John 5:39. Look at life (living) is it learnt? A life to live is by trusting and
acceptance, it is discovered, embraced and lived.
When a child is born into this world, his welfare and survival is by his
dependence, trust and acceptance of us. It is ours until he matures Galatians
4:19. What we study in church is to help us discover the New Life in Christ!
4. Seek the approval of God only John 2:24
Genesis 4:4-7, A Christian is made to have a heart "to do His Will". God is even
helping on the side. Philippians 2:13.
If one is really living the scripture, the only approving person will be the
Lord. He holds the New Life we are living and only He then knows the right
living. For example,
Most of Matthew 5-7 tell us what we think is right and what is really right.
E.g. looking at a woman,
men may approve you which is Great! But it is God’s approval that counts
5. Timing
Timing is important Galatians 4:4
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 emphasizing the timing of everything is important. Walk in
the timing of God. How?
All things must be done decently and in order 1Corinthians 14:40. Matthew 3:15.
It fulfills all righteousness.
Wherever there is a process, timing is important, every single activity in the
process contributes at a particular time. In cooking timing is important.
Benefit from Christ's preparation of you to heaven. Let his purpose work! His
methods will get the right result.
6. Your Spirit needs God don't disappoint Your spirit!
Yearn for righteousness. Matthew 5:20. In distress many settle for
second grade. Don't disappoint your spirit.
God is always seeking to help. Luke 19:10.
Be convicted by the Holy Spirit not your knowledge. Blood is not supposed to be
drunk but to be expected from God for our Salvation and deliverance. No evil
will make your soul happy. Honour the Lord
