The Household of God Ephesians 2:19

 
When God chooses you... and you accept Sunday, July 15, 2018

1. Introduction
The God we serve is not challenged by any situation in this world. His word changed the Earth in Genesis and his word will change you. Genesis 1:1-3

Look for this song: I'm no longer a slave to fear.
You unravel me, with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance, from my enemies
Till all my fears are gone

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God x2

From my mother’s womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again, into a family
Your blood flows through my veins

Note:
There is a sacred area in a man's life: Your will. God gave that to us. To accept is to give God back your will to God. With that Heaven is your limit!

2. God does not choose us because we are great
No He wills to bring us to himself. The work of doing that wholly rest on God.
Deuteronomy 9:6 He said we are q stiff-necked people. James 1:18, Ephesians 1:5, 9, 11.

3. God wills to become your friend, it does not matter your background

He does all this in our Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:21

When the Spirit takes over my soul, I will be changed...

4. When God associates with you, everything related to you is affected
You and your household Acts 16:13. The Jews did not leave empty. Exodus 3:21-22 ye shall not go empty.
Note that when with God even your enemies look unto you with favour.

Consider Nehemiah, the king gave him materials for building the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah 2:8
Even when you denounce yourself like the Samaritan woman. God's favour will elevate you John 4:24.

5. Nature will support you
Revelation 12:15-16, Remember the garden was made in anticipation of Adam. It was for his sake. Keep it deep in your heart that nature will favour you in times of trouble. The Red Sea favored the Jews.

6. Determined enemies are destroyed in their own works when God is with you.
The Egyptians were destroyed by the red Sea but the same red Sea gave way to the Jews
The rain in Noah's time raised his Ark at the same time men were drowning.
The fire of Nebuchadnezzar destroyed his soldiers.
