A fruitful Christian Life in 2018 31st December, 2017


Reading: Romans 13:13-14:2, Mark 12:30
1. Introduction
Many of us desire to worship God in truth. But the truth is many are not able and even when one is able it is like hanging on a thread because we wrongly measure Christianity. We have very poor conclusions.
The key challenge is the flesh which operates contrary to our spirits. Galatians 5:16-18, It seems that the fall is effected thought the flesh. Romans 7:14-20.


2. Cultivate your flesh
When one does not engage the flesh in a meaningful way, like fallow ground the output of the flesh is contrary to righteousness.
• 1 Corinthians 9:27 Makes use of your will and do not allow yourself to be derailed. After all you decide when to marry, where to stay what to eat. Why do we allow someone else to decide? You must decide who you listen to.


3. Wrong measure
The reason is that we are using the wrong measure. The measure is; As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14.
• One cannot be led by the Spirit unless he has received the Spirit.
• One does not have the Spirit unless he is receives it from the Father.
• One cannot receive it from the Father unless he asks.
• One cannot receive it unless he is a son.
• One cannot be a son unless he is born again.
Galatians 5:16 says what is really important is who you are.


4. The Life
Once we live by the spirit the Bible can helps us in many ways, it is the manual for Life.
• Galatians 6:1-3 the mature to help the immature taking care of their own selves.
Christians are evaluated on immature to mature scale and many goods and bads.
• Good Determination
Romans 12:9-18, be serious and loving in your Christian Life. Pray, give, bless and be humble.
• Honourable life
Romans 13. Be law abiding; not to avoid punishment, Love, be Honest live an honorable Life.
• The Christian is important than our judgement
Romans 14 Receive the weak brethren always considering their importance in Christ. You cannot judge another man's servant.
 

5. It is your will, it’s yours
A man’s will belong to him and in reality this is what makes him a candidate for heaven. We are not robots. We play a part and if it is hard, like anyone you call for help and God is glad to help.
Work hard at it but depend on God who has the answers.


Prayer: Father I will strive to do my best as I rest in your mercy and kindness. Amen.
